With its multi-technology integrated manufacturing facility, MAP is
able to perform the processes from material compounding,
mold & dies tooling until mass production, all under one roof.
Materials Formulation & Compounding
Since 1974, MAP has been developing many different technical rubber
components that meet different specifications or standards such as
the JIS, BS, MS, DIN, ASTM, and some original equipment
manufacturers' specifications such as Mitsubishi, Proton and Tadano.
MAP has extensive experience in using:
- Natural Rubber - SMR L, SMR CV and SMR 5
- Synthetic Rubber - NBR, SBR, EPDM and CR
- Specialty Rubber - ACM and Silicone
- High Performance Polyurethane Materials
Depending on your needs, suitable elastomers can be formulated
to provide good resistance against heat, ozone, weather, oil,
stain, high voltage, and high abrasion or wear.
Mold & Dies Design and Tooling
For mold & dies, MAP has designed and made thousands of different
toolings for injection molding, compression molding, as well as dies for
metal parts die-stamping. MAP uses 3D CAD/CAM software, CNC lathes,
CNC machining centers, CNC EDM Wire Cut and Die-Sinking machines
to make all the toolings.
Injection Molding
For mass production, MAP is equipped with reliable injection molding
machines that can perform different molding operations, such as
direct injection, injection transfer, injection-compression, injection with
vacuum.
Metal Parts Production
For metal parts production, MAP is equipped with CNC lathes,
CNC machining centers, stamping machines, welding robot and other
conventional machines.
Inspection and Testing
For inspections and testing, MAP is equipped with Rheometer, Viscometer, Tensile Tester, Aging Oven, Hardness Tester,
Density Weighing Balance, various types of calipers and Profile
Projector. For product functional and performance testings, they can
be arranged upon request.
Quality Assurance
To provide quality assurance, MAP has a well defined Quality
Management System and it is subjected to regular internal auditing,
as well as external or third-party auditing.
